Yes. If you had the Stryker Rejuvenate hip implant device removed and replaced before November 3, 2014 or were too ill to undergo revision surgery you are entitled to compensation under the recently announced settlement agreement. Compensation for other devices may be determined shortly. You still have time to get your settlement even if you have not already filed a claim.
To file a Stryker settlement claim, you are required to participate in the registration program. Registration for the Stryker Settlement program will begin in December, 2014. Applicants will be required to supply a Claims Administrator with medical records that show they were implanted with a Stryker Rejuvenate or StrykerABG II device, that the device failed due adverse local tissue reaction, and that the device with removed and replaced. Qualified applicants should start receiving Base Awards in June or July of 2015. Enhanced awards will be paid several months later.
